Reviews
I was raised in East Brunswick and have been a huge fan of the EBPL since our third grade class trip to get our library cards. I remember asking the Librarian if there was a limit to how many books I could take out and she told me, As many as you can carry! I took her very seriously and made sure I could carry all the books up to the Circulation Desk by myself.
When I moved away for a while, I missed having such a well stocked and well serviced library. The libraries in my new town were nowhere as good.
Now that I'm back in EB, it's sheer pleasure to visit the Library but to also use its online services like Libby.
I now have a two yr old and try to visit the library with him at few times a month. I want him growing up knowing the power of the public library, and it's amazing breadth of services and the helpful staff of librarians.
Thank you for being so amazing!
This library is so good. It has the areas for different purposes, including an area specifically for children. It also has the regular sessions for children like reading etc.
This building is a free work of art for the community. There are books of every reading level Beginner to College Level Courses (For Free). Its also so fun. I love the butterflies statues surrounding the doors. Also the Brass Statues wonderful. Its so inviting I keep going back. I love it. Also the women at the font desk who helped me fix my account thank you. Because you helped me better then any other Middlesex county librarian
It’s great library!! But this year I signed up for the summer English language courses from the library, I didn’t like it, often we were asked to go early from the lessons and often just watched movies for 3 hours using pirate sites.
Very nice and beautifully organized library.
The lady at the reception desk Barbara was very helpful in giving information... she Said she was working there from long time...obviously that makes her amazing at her service.
Wide variety of books and activities to do.
Thank you and keep it up.
Favorite place to go with kids casually. With a very nice park around the corner. It has many benches to sit and read freshly picked book.
A good place to find a lot of resources. Has a lot of parking spaces. Could have had more public computers for use. The space is sometimes not the quietest. Overall, well maintained library.
This is a "first impression" review.
My first visit to the Library was to attend an event. The library was prepared for the visitors. A staff member with "Security" prominent on the T-Shirt greeted me and directed me to the event room.
The meeting room was more like a conference hall. The infrastructure included separate controls to turn up the volume of a recorded audio clip played on the presenter's laptop.
I happened to run into the Library Director who was kind enough to spend time with me. We were not able to speak at first as the event started but he sought me out and continued the conversation.
The café area of the Library has the vibe of a Starbucks in a Barnes & Noble. Check out the photos to see what I mean.
Overall, it was a great first impression and I plan to return.
